Hey guys, sorry if im being distant from here and my social medias, something happened and lets just say its effected my day-to-day life at the moment.
Anyway this post is all about products i found disappointing. Im not saying that these products are bad in anyway, i personally just don't find them very good.
Im going to start off with the smallest product which is only a sample. Its the body shop Vitamin C glow boosting moisturizer. My sister was so hyped up about this product, so much that it made me very keen to try it. I found this a huge disappointment. I only got about 2 using out of this sample, the first time it made my face very very sticky and feeling unmoisturized, I thought that happened because it was the first time uses this but no it happened again. Also the scent isnt very nice in my opinion. It reminded me of the Sanex shower wash which is an okay smell but i expected more fruity smell. Also im not a huge fan of the actual consistency, its more like a gel rather than a moisturizer.
Check it out here.
The next product is the zoella fizz bar. I was hyped up about this and her first range of beauty products but its really not as good as i thought it would be. After i bought this i did look up reviews online about it and there was alot of mixed reviews: some saying its great with a lot of fizz and some saying its a waste of money ect. The packaging is pretty cute,so thats probably the best thing about it. I tried this of two ways: put 2 cubes into the bath and then run the water and then run the water and add the cubes while the bath is filling up. Nothing worked. There was no colour difference at all. No fizz or any kind of smooth creamy fizz in the water. The fragrance i got off when its in the package it a tiny hit of sherbet but mostly laundry detergent. There was no fragrance once it hit the water. Also this ties into the Zoella Soak Opera bath soak and shower cream. The plus side is that its a huge bottle (490ml). Its not the best body wash ever but it does create some bubbles. It smells like a little bit of flowers, baby shampoo and laundry detergent, it's the best way to describe it. The thing that stopped me buying more products of her is the smell. I personally think they smell a little juvenile, the smell like something a 10-14 year old would wear, especially the mist/perfume.

The next item is the is Avon Mega effects mascara in the shade 'Blackest blacks'. The idea of whole packaging and brush is clever but it doesn't work for me. I've had it since it came out and ive only used it few times. I found that the mascara doesn't dry very quickly and for me that's a problem due to fact that i wear glasses and i can't keep my glasses off for very long because it hurts. Also the brush isn't very long/wide so i need to apply it about 3 times to coat all the lashes and for me it made my lashes clumpy and nobody got time for those clumpy lashes.
The very last product is the Barry M chisel cheeks contour kit. I was really torn between buying this and not buying this. I actually only use the highlighter out of it now, which i apply to my under eyes, t-zone and sometimes a little bit on my chin. For me the bronzer (Medium powder) and contour powder (Dark powder) is terrible. Once you pop it onto your skin, it's really hard to blend out properly and it leaves you with harsh lines and it sticks to unwanted places for example if i have any concealer it sticks to that and makes it look horribly cakey. Also the packaging fell apart in the few 2ish weeks of having it.
It didn't work for me at all and i do regret buying this when i could of just bought a highlighter and stuck to my old bronzer/contour.
Shhhhh ignore the state of the pallet casing.

So thats it for this post. Hope you're all okay.
