Hey guys, heres my late september favourites.
Im going straight into it with my first product.
So the first few products have been my life saviour for the past few weeks,i've recently been getting super super dry skin so i have been very wary about using products which make my face even more dryer,So i resorted to moisturising my face nearly every hour! it worked though. I originally used a brand called skin therapy. The balance me Collagen boost restore and replenish face cream is an amazing cream, I don't use this product all over my face, i just used it around my cheeks and t-zone which was where most of my dry skin was. I use this while i use the nivea creme. Combining these two products got my skin back to normal within a few days.
Also i have been loving using the superdrug coconut oil for skin and face. I've been using this to restore some oil into my face and its helped. This oil does come in a solid form so you do have to heat it up or what i do is slightly heat it up using my fingers and then rub it into my face. I found using this and helped my skin feel so much softer and bonus it makes it smell so nice... even though i don't like coconut i love the smell of it.
The next product is the Rimmel london BB radiance cream. I go through foundations and BB cream quicker than i go through a jar of coffee (and i go through coffee FAST), my skin colour changes for example i go lighter in the summer and darker in the winter. Normally my shade is medium/dark but summer comes along and i paler than a light/ivory colour. Also my skin type changes like anything. I have a huge collection of foundations and BB creams which i don't use but i don't want to throw out because i know fairwell that my skin will go back to being perfect to one of those foundations. Anyway enough of me babbling on, This BB cream does everything it says. It gives my face a radiant shine and hides all my red patches. Some days it does this thing where it clings onto my dry patches which is super annoying and the end result is me getting angry aha. It does conceal everything but i still have to use undereye conceal because it just doesn't do the job.
I bought two because it was on offer.
The next product is the organic glam mascara. I love this brand because of the fact they are organic and use amazing ingredients. I am in love with this mascara and i don't really wear mascara because i wear glasses and it makes my lashes brush against my glasses and i rub my eyes alot so ahh mascara smudges! This brush is so thin so it doesn't get everywhere when you brush it through your lashes. Also can i just say im in love with the packaging. ahh the downside of falling in love with products is repurchasing them... You can only get this online. I'm not sure if they have shops in cities but in my little town no shops where they sell this brand which is a shame because im intrested in alot of their products and i don't like buying brushes, powders and eyeshadows online without knowing how they look in person.
Another product is the Model CO black eyeliner pencil. This eyeliner is super pigmented and also it stays on for hours, it lasts all day. Once again i love the design on the pencil, its simple but i love simple things. I don't have much to say about this but i love it.
The next product is toothpaste. The toothpaste is the Oral-B 3D white toothpaste. It actually works which is great and it does what it says. My sister gave me this because it made her get very sensitive teeth so it doesn't work for everyone. I've never reviewed a toothpaste before but le's just say im not changing my toothpaste any time soon. Ahhh i need to get so more soon.
Non beauty favourites
There's so many songs ive been loving in september.
Ahh so cute! The first one in LuHan- Your song. The video concept is so cute and i love the lyrics. Hes also wearing his cartier bracelet and for the people who dont listen to Exo: Him,Sehun and Tao all had one. Tao and himself have left so when we see anyone wearing their cartier bracelet... well we get excited aha. I still can't get over the cute illustrations in the video and at the end The director says "alright, once more" and Luhan goes "huh? again?" and the girl says "didn't we just film it?" just letting you know aha.
Another LuHan song is ' That good good', I just really enjoy the tempo and the feeling this song give off and plus LuHan's dancing is on point. I always listen to this song while doing something that needs me awake for example getting ready, tidying my room and sometimes homework.
The next song is Ladies code- Kiss kiss. I do have mixed emotions about this song due to the fact that two of the member did die last september. This is a great song to listen to if you want to get into ladies code but warning the video is a little weird.
The last non beauty favourite is a film. Its called 'Miss you already'. I went to see this film with my sister and i loved it. I won't mention any spoilers in case you want to watch this film. I recommend it to anyone because its an amazing film and has a interesting plot. The main actresses are Drew Barrymore (Jess) and Toni Collette (Milly), they both are amazing actresses and you can feel the emotions they are portraying. Off the topic Kit (dominic cooper) who is Milly's husband turned out mighty fine aha.
Toni actually shaved her head for this role due to her playing a cancer patient.
What their facebook page says : They say opposites attract. Milly (Toni Collette) is the woman who has everything: a successful career; a rock-star husband and two beautiful children. Her best friend is Jess (Drew Barrymore), she works in a community garden; lives in a boathouse with her boyfriend Jago and desperately wants a baby.
Friends since childhood Jess and Milly can’t remember a time they didn’t share everything –secrets, clothes, even boyfriends, their differences are the glue that binds them together. That is until Milly is hit with the life changing news that she has breast cancer and needs Jess’s support more than ever.
As Jess tries to balance her own life as well as being there for Milly it is only a matter of time before the pressure on their bond takes its toll.
